Crazy Horse Memorial
In the Black Hills of South Dakota rests the Crazy Horse Memorial, welcome center, and museum, paying tribute to the Native American warrior. Crazy Horse is best known for fighting George Armstrong Custer at the Battle of the Little Big Horn. The sculpture was started in 1948 by Korczak Ziolkowski and is a work in progress, being continued by Ziolkowski's wife and children.
